Every year over 3,000 people around Scotland suffer from an out of hospital cardiac arrest and unfortunately, only around 1 in 10 people will survive. One of the reasons for this low survival rate is simple: not enough people know emergency life saving skills.

In just 1 hour you can be someone who knows how to respond in an emergency and help save a life.

Heartstart Ayrshire & Arran is affiliated to the Save a Life for Scotland campaign, a partnership between the Emergency Services, Third Sector organisations, the Scottish Government and Academic Researchers.

We are committed to saving lives by changing the way we think about Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest. 

We are a partnership between the emergency services, third sector organisations, Scottish Government and academic researchers.
