❤️‍Emergency Life Support Training

Heartstart Ayrshire and Arran provide a free 1 hour Emergency Life Support Training session to members of the public within the Ayrshire and Arran Health Board area.

The training consists of the following areas:

• Treatment for Unconscious Casualty that is Breathing

• Treatment for Unconscious Casualty that is NOT Breathing

• Defibrillator Awareness

• Recognise and Treatment of Suspected Heart Attack

• Treatment of Bleeding

• Treatment of Choking

❤️‍The Chain of Survival

Our training is based on "The Chain of Survival":

• Early recognition and call for help

• Early CPR

• Early Defibrillation

• Post resuscitation care

❤️‍Onsite Training

Heartstart Ayrshire & Arran offer on-site training to clubs and organisations who can provide a suitable venue: 

• We can offer morning, afternoon or evening classes.

• We require a minimum number of 8 attendees.

• The maximum number of attendees is dependent on the size of your training room.

• The session is free of any charge.

• The session runs for one hour but we will require use of the training room for a total of two hours.
